Victoria and Anees both grew up in the same community of Cary, NC, yet their paths never crossed until they met through a mutual friend. Their unexpected meeting sparked a friendship that swiftly grew into something more meaningful.


That summer, they found themselves hanging out with the same friend group, relaxing around local Cary spots. While others eventually left for school, Victoria and Anees remained in Cary, discovering they had more in common than they initially realized.


One memorable evening, their connection deepened over dinner at Armadillo Grill, where they shared stories, laughs, and their love for good food. On January 24, 2015, Victoria and Anees went on their official first date, marking the start of their journey as partners.


As their relationship flourished, they decided to embark on a new adventure together and move to Charlotte. There, they welcomed Mowgli, their new puppy, into their lives and grew to love the city.


Charlotte soon became their home, and they decided to put down roots by purchasing a house together. Sharing a home, Anees knew it was the perfect time to take the next step. He proposed to Victoria at Duke Gardens, creating a moment they will cherish forever.
